Accessibility statement
Strategic Systems Academy is built to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard alone, a small screen, magnification, or reduced motion. The target is WCAG 2.2 at level AA. This statement was last reviewed on 14 September 2026.
What is checked, on every change
- Every public page and every signed-in page is scanned with axe-core, in light and dark themes, and the build fails on any moderate or worse finding.
- Keyboard operation: a visible focus indicator on every control, a skip link, dialogs that trap and return focus, and menus and tabs that work with the arrow keys.
- Reflow: every page is checked at 320 pixels wide with no sideways scrolling, and scrollable tables are reachable from the keyboard.
- Color: text and controls meet the contrast minimums on the surfaces they actually sit on, not only on white.
- Motion: animations respect the reduced-motion preference.
- Names: every form control has a programmatic label, checked at the source as well as in the browser.
Content
Lessons are text with structured headings, callouts and references; there is no audio or video to caption. Knowledge checks announce their result and move focus to it. The AI tutor and the simulation transcript are live regions with named speakers. Credential badges and certificates are images with text alternatives, and the same facts are on the verification page as text.
Known limitations
- The badge and certificate images do not scale their text; the verification page carries the same information as text.
- Course content is written in English only.
- The LinkedIn hand-off opens LinkedIn, whose accessibility is LinkedIn's.
Tell us what does not work
If something here does not work for you, tell your organization's Academy administrator, who can reach the Academy team directly, or use the “Request access” page to write to us. Say which page and what you were using; it will be treated as a defect, not a suggestion.
